Sulagna is a dedicated anthropologist and development practitioner with grassroots fieldwork experience across India. Her work spans human-environment interaction, community resilience, climate change adaptation and solid waste management. She has collaborated closely with indigenous communities in Assam, led needs assessments in water-stressed regions like Nuh, and contributed to state and national-level policy and climate resilience projects.
By training, Sulagna holds a Master’s in Sustainable Development Practice from the TERI School of Advanced Studies and a BSc (Hons) in Anthropology from Amity University, Noida. Her work often intersects with governance systems, climate policy, and local ecological knowledge, with a strong emphasis on research-based solutions.
Sulagna is a trained classical singer and an avid traveller who enjoys nature and wildlife photography.
